YOFC Quartz Technology (Wuhan) Company Limited (referred to as "QUARTECS"), established in December 2022, is a subsidiary of Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (stock code: 06869.HK, 601869. SH), focusing on the research and development, production, testing, sales, and service of high-end quartz material products.

QUARTECS independently masters various chemical vapor deposition, international mainstream synthetic quartz preparation processes, and natural quartz melting processes such as semiconductor electric melting. In terms of physical and chemical properties, optical properties, geometric accuracy, and product consistency, high purity, no bubbles, and high optical uniformity all have excellent performance levels. It can fully meet the stringent performance and quality requirements of high-end quartz materials in the optical, optical communication, and semiconductor industries.

    Quartz R&D team established

    With the continuous development of technology, the application of quartz materials in various fields is becoming increasingly widespread. In order to better research and develop quartz materials and improve the overall level of China's quartz industry, Changfei Company has decided to establish a quartz research and development team to carry out basic research, application development, and industrialization promotion of quartz materials, and contribute to the development of China's quartz industry.

    Successfully developed fused quartz anchorage

    Using imported natural quartz sand and electric melting process, we provide high-purity, low bubble rate, and low OH content quartz materials for semiconductor use. They can be used in high-temperature resistant and semiconductor etching plasma areas, as well as semiconductor quartz components.

    Changfei Quartz Ezhou Factory has started construction, opening a new chapter in the development of the quartz company.

    Developed YS-1320 quartz ingots with a diameter greater than 500mm

    Has ultra-low hydroxyl content (OH)<1ppm) and excellent optical performance can achieve high optical uniformity, low stress birefringence, extremely high transmittance from deep ultraviolet (193nm) to near-infrared (2800nm) bands, low weak absorption coefficient, and strong resistance to gamma radiation.

    Developed YS-2330 quartz ingot with an average light concentration of less than 1ppm

    Customizable high optical uniformity, low stress birefringence, high transmittance in the 355nm, 532nm, 1064nm and other wavelength bands far from the hydroxyl absorption peak, with a maximum aperture of meters.

    Wuhan factory topping out ceremony

    The topping out ceremony for the R&D and industrialization project of Changfei Optical and Semiconductor Quartz Components was held at Changfei Science and Technology Park in Donghu New Technology Development Zone, Wuhan, marking the beginning of a new journey for Changfei Quartz's high-end quartz material industrialization project.
